Arrival and pickup at agreed point. Morning: free visit to Lleó Market — Girona's oldest market, with local producers of cheese, cured meats and seasonal vegetables. Your guide accompanies you and explains the gastronomic culture of the region.
Afternoon and evening: Private Tapas Tour through the historic quarter with our local guide. 5 carefully selected stops: vermouth, pintxos, cuttlefish croquettes, sheep's cheese DO Empordà and organic local wine. A perfect introduction to Empordà flavours.

Morning: visit Perelada Castle and winery — a 14th-century medieval castle with art collection, library and wine production including some of Catalonia's finest cavas and white wines. Private tasting with sommelier.
Afternoon: Cadaqués — the village Miró, Picasso and Duchamp made their refuge. Free walk through the harbour, white streets and baroque church. Return to departure point.

Are there age or health restrictions for tastings?
Tastings are for over-18s. No health restrictions, but let us know of any food allergies or intolerances — we adapt the pairing menu no problem.
How many bottles can we buy at the wineries?
The wineries offer special discounts to Girona Tour clients. We can arrange shipping anywhere in Spain or Europe if you buy more than fits in your suitcase.
Is this a family tour? Can children come?
The tour is designed for adults passionate about gastronomy and wine. If travelling with children over 12 we can adapt, but the focus on tastings and pairings makes it more suitable for adults.
Can a winery be substituted?
Yes. We have agreements with 8 DO Empordà wineries and can personalise the selection by preference (whites, reds, rosés, cava, dessert wines). Just mention it when booking.
Is there a vegetarian/vegan option for the pairing lunch?
Of course. The local chef adapts the menu with full flexibility — gluten-free and dairy-free options also available. Indicate it in the contact form.
